Where are the meetings?
Upper Braes Parish Church, Main Street, Brightons, Falkirk, FK2 0JT. View location on map
Please note that we use the church hall only for convenience. We have no religious interests or affiliations whatsoever. Nevertheless, we are very grateful to the Upper Braes Parish for allowing us to hire their excellent amenities each month.
When do the meetings take place?
Cuppa meetings are held on a monthly basis on Friday afternoons from 2pm to 4 pm. See upcoming meetings below for our next cuppa meet-up!
Who can attend?
Everyone is welcome to come to our meetings. We are always pleased to meet new people and welcome new members.
Before coming to your first meeting please get in touch, and let us know who you are. Also read, or have read to you, our Group Agreement.
Upcoming Meetings
26th June 2026
Alongside our usual cuppa and chat, we will have an update from Forth Valley NHS on the expanding Long Covid care services.

24th July 2026
Usual Cuppa meeting, which will include a presentation and chat from Andy’s Mans Club. Their message about men’s mental wellbeing should interest us all so hoping for a good turnout from every gender please!

Previous Meetings
22nd May 2026
We held our AGM on Friday 22nd May, with presentations from our Chair and Treasurer. We then reelected our Committee members and thanked them all for working diligently to run our group and organise our Cuppa Group meetings.
We also enjoyed a good group discussion of what we can do to help more people with Lobg Covid through thier recovery journey.
17th April 2026
Because of the usual challenges of Long Covid our AGM is held over until next meeting. Instead we discussed the types of session we might want for future Cuppa Group meetings. Asking that members please bring / raise ideas and suggestions to our meetings, to our FB page or email us using the email at the foot of this page.
As usual we had plenty of group and 1 to 1 conversations over tea, coffee and biscuits!

The first meeting of the new year went exceptionally well. Anna Bell led an engaging session on Creativity for Well‑Being.
Everyone had the chance to reflect on what creativity meant to them and explore how it can be beneficial for both mental and physical health.
The usual cuppa catch‑up gave us time to reconnect; it was a very positive start to the new year!

There was a great turnout for our annual Christmas Party!
This completes another successful year of Cuppa meetings!
Much thanks to all our members for their support and encouragement throughout the year. Thanks also to our Committee members with particularly thanks to Suzanne and Noreen for their continued hard work and leadership.

While we enjoyed our cuppa, cakes and chat, two professionals from the Falkirk & Clackmannanshire Carers Centre sat with us and explained the fantastic work they do to help support carers in Falkirk and Clacks. Now added some info and links on our Resources page.

NHS FV AHP* Director Paul Cameron and Jennifer Ritchie – NHS FV Long Covid Co-Ordinator, presented their vision for local NHS Long Covid Services.
AHP = Allied Healthcare Professionals which are physios, therapists and other non medical specialists.
